COVID-19 + other infectious diseases

Everything is optional, but if you are concerned about infection control, here is what you can continue to do:

  • Wear a mask while indoors or at least in the treatment room for your session.
  • When you arrive, you may wait in your vehicle and text me to let me know you’ve arrived (443-840-0682). I will text you back when I am ready for you.
  • You can prepay for your appointment by credit card, PayPal, or Venmo
    (check the client portal the day before or the morning of your appointment for an invoice), or have a check written or exact cash ready in advance.
  • You can re-book online or call or email me after your session. 
  • I will be disinfecting the massage table and all touched surfaces after every client. 
  • There is an air purifier in my treatment room.

Inclement Weather

In the event of inclement weather, it may be necessary to reschedule your appointment. I follow Baltimore County Public Schools closures and delays. Please check your text messages, email, or BCPS.org before your appointment.

  • If school is closed, all appointments are cancelled.
  • If there is a 2-hour delay, any appointments that start before 12:00pm are cancelled.
  • If schools are closing early, any appointments scheduled after 12:00pm are cancelled. Appointments scheduled to end after 12:00pm can be shortened or must be cancelled.
  • Log on to the client portal to reschedule.

Inclement weather isn’t just snow – it’s can also be extreme temperatures, high winds, and flooding.

Illness

The cancellation fee will be waived if the client is sick and they will not be billed for a missed appointment. You should not be massaged if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness.

  • You should not be massaged if you are coughing, sneezing, blowing your nose frequently or have a sore throat or swollen lymph nodes.
  • You should be fever-free and with out vomiting for 24 hours without the aid of any prescribed or over-the-counter medicine before coming in for a massage.
  • My practice will adhere to local, state, and federal guidelines or mandatory orders regarding closures, mask-wearing, etc.

Cancellations + Missed Apppointments

My clients’ time – and my own time – is important to me. If you cannot keep your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice. For your convenience, you can cancel in the client portal, or there is a cancellation link available in your confirmation and reminder emails. This link expires 24 hours before your appointment – please contact me directly to cancel if providing less than 24 hours.

  • All massages cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will be billed a 50% fee.
  • Any missed appointments will be billed the full fee.
  • Any outstanding balances must be paid in full before receiving massage.

Late Arrivals

All treatment sessions have a specific time schedule and late arrivals may not be able to receive an extension of the scheduled appointment. If my schedule allows, I may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. The original session fee will be charged.

Parking

When you arrive, please park in the lot off of Parks Avenue at the front of the building, and not in the spaces off of Monroe Street. Thank you.
