Chair Massage for Your Workplace

You can't open a newspaper today without reading about the negative effects of stress. Even if employees aren't experiencing stress at work, other sources of stress can have an adverse impact on work performance. According to Fortune Magazine, The American Institute of Stress, a research group, estimates that stress and its consequences such as absenteeism, burnout and mental health conditions cost American businesses more than $300 billion a year. The benefits of massage therapy in the workplace are expanding every day. Major corporations such as Motorola and BP Amoco have made massage a part of their employee benefits programs, and you can too!

Cost-effective? Yes!

  • There is no up-front investment in equipment or facilities.
  • Chair massage is flexible enough to schedule into the workday without interrupting work flow.
  • Chair massage is one of the most affordable wellness programs available.
  • Chair massage lowers health care costs.

The program can be set up in one of three ways:

  1. On-site 15 minute seated chair massage, $20 per employee.
  2. On-site 15 minute seated chair massage, $10 paid by employee, $10 paid by company.
  3. Certificates redeemable for off-site massage – you set the value.

Certificates can be redeemed by employees for table or seated chair massage. Your company can pay for the entire service or use the program as a percentage off of the actual rates.

I would be happy to work with you in developing a weekly, monthly or quarterly program to fit the needs of your benefit plan budgets and your employees. I would also be happy to send you copies of my brochure that outlines the benefits of massage for reducing stress as a way to introduce the program to your workforce.
